5a King Street
Just over half a mile away from Castle House, this modest building, now a private residence, once played a central role in the final chapter of Robert Kiddey’s artistic life. Toward the end of his career, he purchased what was then a former school at 5a King Street and transformed it into his personal studio.
The space offered the scale Kiddey needed to work on larger, more ambitious projects — a place of focus, creativity, and continued productivity in his later years. Though it’s no longer accessible to the public, this address offers a quiet moment for reflection on the artist’s enduring dedication to his craft.
